First Day of Practice for Fall 2025
All fall athletes will meet with Coach Nesslage at 3:00 p.m. in the Holley Assembly Hall on August 11.
All athletes must have their PRIVIT Profile up to date with updated physical as soon as possible to be “CLEARED” as a FALL athlete on PRIVIT by August 11. The “clearing” process by Ms. Kavanaugh takes 30 seconds per athlete for over 600 athletes.
All athletes must “SELECT” the team or teams you plan on participating on. This should be done for all seasons of the school year, IF you are a multiple sport athlete.
First day plans for each sport:
Boys Cross Country
August 11, 7:30 a.m. through 10:00 a.m. at the Campbell Pavilion in Kirkwood Park. Bring your signed Road Rules and water bottle. Wear running watch and shorts.
Girls Cross Country
August 11, 3:15 p.m. at Kirkwood Park for practice.
Field Hockey
August 11, 4:30 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.on the KHS field hockey field. Bring your stick, mouth and shin guards, and water.
Football
August 11, 3:15 p.m. through 6:15 p.m. in the KHS Athletic Facility--all levels.
Girls Golf
August 11, 3:00 p.m. in the Journalism Lecture Hall (off of the Essex parking lot). The rest of the schedule will be communicated during this time.
Boys Soccer
August 11, Varsity: 3:30 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. on the KHS upper soccer field. Junior Varsity and Freshman: 3:30-5:00 p.m. on the KHS upper soccer field.
Softball
August 11, 3:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. on the KHS softball field. Bring tennis shoes in case of rain. The rest of the schedule will be communicated during this time.
Boys Swim and Dive
August 11, 3:00 p.m. through 5:30 p.m. in the Walker Natatorium. Bring your water bottle. The rest of the schedule will be communicated during this time.
Girls Tennis
August 11, 3:15 p.m. through 5:30 p.m. at the Kirkwood Park tennis courts. Bring your racquet, water, hat, and sunscreen. The rest of the schedule will be communicated during this time.
Girls Volleyball
August 11, 3:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. in the Holley Assembly Hall. The rest of the schedule will be communicated during this time.
Cheer
August 11, 4:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m. at Tillman Elementary. The rest of the schedule will be communicated during this time.
Poms
August. 11, 3:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. in the KHS Dance Studio. The rest of the schedule will be communicated during this time.
